Question
How to format storage in EXT3 and enable SWAP partition?

Answer

Task: Formatting the AIOS storage (internal/external) into EXT3, create and enable SWAP partition.
Difficulty: Low
Creativity: Low
Applicable to: ALL firmwares

Details:
- EXT3 has proven to outperform default NTFS formate in both reliability and speed. Its a requirement for faster network transfers, reliable transmission operation (BT client) and as a workaround to enable local indexing for network files.
- In this example I start with an 4GB NTFS formatted pen drive, I will create two partitions on the drive a swap partition of 512MB size (double the AIOS RAM) and allocate the rest to the ext3 partition.

Prerequisites:
- Ability to telnet to the AIOS and execute commands.

Setup:
- Add storage to the AIOS.
- reboot the AIOS.
- telnet to the AIOS
